Why are Air Tools Part(s) Important
Air Tools are a must for the serious do-it-yourselfer. A proper garage is more than just a shed with a concrete floor. Whether you're rebuilding an old muscle car or changing the oil in your wife's Camry, the proper tools make any project much easier. A true garage has garage accessories, like air tools, that make your life as an amateur mechanic easier.
Air powered tools, also called pneumatic tools, offer more power and torque than standard hand tools. Powered by air, they convert air pressure into energy that is exerted through the tool that is attached. It is a requirement to buy an air compressor to operate an air tool; make sure you're buying an air compressor that is the proper type for what you plan on using it for; also make sure it puts out the proper PSI. But once that's sorted out, air tools simply clip-in to the end of the air hose and are ready to use.
Warn Air-Power SPI Shop Air Compressor - This ⅓ gallon air compressor makes enough pressure to run non continuous air tools. It comes with a pressure switch so it shuts off when it reaches maximum pressure.
Smittybilt XRC Air Tank - This air tank stores air to be used by air tools. Comes with quick connect studs and a drain cock to release liquid that builds from condensation.
