Why are Electrical Motors & Switches Part(s) Important
Electrical Motors and Switches are very important members to the interior of your car. They are used to operate your power doors, window motors, or sun roof motor just to name a few. The way it works is the driver simply pushes a button or switch, which then sends a signal to the sensor and/or motor, telling it to do its job. Gone are the days of having to manually lock the doors or roll up the windows by hand. Now the driver or passenger can simply push the door lock button or window button and within seconds their request is mechanically met.
Depending on the year, make and model of your vehicle, different controls function different ways. Power door locks for example, have a lock/unlock switch that sends power to the actuators, which locks and unlocks the door. Some vehicles have a body controller that is activated by key fobs or door-mounted touchpads, which then send a signal to the actuator. Window motors or window regulators operate very similarly to power doors. When the driver or passenger pushes the switch, a signal is sent to the window regulator, which makes it possible to roll the window up or down. Both of these components have made driving a lot more safe and convenient. However, with the convenience comes usage, and wear and tear are often experienced after 6-8 years worth of use.
A1 Cardone Power Window Motor & Regulator Made of high quality materials, these parts are tripled tested to guarantee proper function and years of performance.
