Why are Relays, Sensors, Switches & Electronics Part(s) Important
Relays, Sensors, Switches and Electronics are all important components to all mechanical and electrical functions within the car’s interior. Relays, sensors and switches each have an individual responsibility in order for the electrical signal to be sent to the mechanical device. If any of these components fail or show signs of inconsistency, it will cause the particular device to fail or lack optimal performance. Seat adjuster controls, door lock switches, and interior lights are just a few devices that use relays and sensors to operate.
Switches send the signal to the relay, which then opens up the electrical current in the system. Power door locks for example, have a lock/unlock switch that sends power through the relay to the actuators, which locks and unlocks the door. Interior electronics have come a long way in the last 30 years, and we are lucky to have the technology to make our driving experience much more pleasurable.
Standard Multi Purpose Relay Engineered to reduce failures, this multi-purpose relay manufactured by Standard Motor Products Inc. is made with highly durable materials and resistant to fire and shocks.
Auto 7 Door Window Switch At a fraction of the cost of the dealer cost, this window switch manufactured in Korea comes with a 1 year/12,000 mile warranty.
