          Mirrors Information

          Why are Mirrors Part Important

Mirrors are one of the most critical components for your vehicle. Mirrors are important because they allow the driver to see what is behind them without having to turn their head and shoulders. There are generally two types of mirrors, a rear view mirror and a side view mirror. The rear view mirror is located inside the vehicle, just above the driver’s head above the center console. The side view mirrors are located on the left side and right side of the outside of the vehicle, just in front of the driver and passenger door. Both types of mirrors should always be used to check blind spots and traffic behind you.

The rear view mirror is normally used to see what cars are behind you. It increases your visibility and allows the driver to get a better understanding of what vehicles and how many vehicles are around them. The side view mirrors are usually used when a driver is changing lanes. If angled correctly, the driver can see if there are any vehicles in their blind spot. Depending on your vehicle, some mirrors are universal, others are custom fitted. When looking for a replacement mirror, make sure they are compatible with your car or truck.
