Why are Cabin Air Filters Part(s) Important
A dirty Cabin Filter limits the flow of fresh air to your cabin and that’s all it does- if you’re lucky. Unchecked, your starving filtration system could suck debris or contaminates into the cabin’s air filtration system. That’s why it’s important not only to buy the right filter (your cabin air filter is not the place to engage in the round peg in the square hole experiment) but also to check it regularly and, if need be, change it. Otherwise you won’t get to see what your machine can really do.
If your cabin air filter isn't working properly, you could be losing power and jeopardizing the safety of everything that filter is made to protect.
