The Ignition Distributor plays a vital role in relaying the spark to the appropriate cylinder. Once the spark reaches the engine, it ignites the fuel. A well timed ignition system can make or break an engine's performance and efficiency.

The ignition distributor is attached to the engine and sends the energy from the coil through the spark plug wires to the proper cylinder. Adjusting the position of the distributor will change the timing of the spark. Having the distributor send the energy to the spark plug to ignite the fuel air mixture at the proper moment maximizes engine power and efficiency.
