Ignition Coil
There are many sub-systems involved in making an engine work, but none are as vital as the ignition system. The Ignition Coil plays a vital role in relaying the spark to the appropriate cylinder. Once the spark reaches the engine, it ignites the fuel. A well timed ignition system can make or break an engine's performance and efficiency.

Why are Ignition Coil Part(s) Important
There are many sub-systems involved in making an engine work, but none are as vital as the ignition system. The Ignition Coil plays a vital role in relaying the spark to the appropriate cylinder. Once the spark reaches the engine, it ignites the fuel. A well timed ignition system can make or break an engine's performance and efficiency.
The ignition coil is a basic induction unit. It takes standard 12V charge from the battery and boosts it to up to 100,000 volts. That charge is later used to ignite the fuel-air mixture in the cylinder. On older vehicles the coil is connected to the distributor to power all of the cylinders. In newer cars there are distributor-less ignition systems that have one coil for each cylinder and connect directly to the spark plug eliminating the need for spark plug wires.
Standard Ignition Coil - This ignition coil meets OE standards and offers maximum voltage output at all speeds.
Bosch Ignition Coil - This ignition coil is designed to eliminate the common failure points of the original part yet fit directly into the stock spot.
