Why are Wire & Harnesses Part Important
One of the tradeoffs of new cars having computers that control their operation is that parts need to be wired into the Electrical Wire Harness. And because there is such a vast array of cars being made, most parts require adapters and wiring harnesses. Harnesses are a simpler wiring solution compared to hardwiring a component into the system because plugs fit together ensuring the proper wires connect. So whether a wire has gone bad in your car or you're adding a part to your engine, making sure your wiring is correct is a top priority.
If your car is experiencing a wiring problem, it can be difficult to fix as they give off a variety of symptoms. A loose wire can cause whatever is attached to it to shut off intermittently for no given reason and come back on at an equally random interval. The best way to avoid wiring problems is to wire it properly the first time.
