Why are Gaskets, Seals & O-rings Part(s) Important
Gaskets, Seals and O-rings are an integral part of your vehicle's Air Conditioning and Heating system which keep your interior at a comfortable temperature. The AC system is in charge of cooling air and circulating it through your cabin. It does this through a series of pumps, condensers, fans and a ventilation system it shares with the heater. Hot coolant flows through the heater core warming the air before returning to the radiator to be cooled down. The hot air from the core is pumped into the cabin to warm passengers and protect them from outside temperature. In this inter-connected system every part is absolutely necessary, especially your Gaskets, Seals and O-rings.
One universal challenge to all of your vehicle’s systems, including the AC and heating system, is sealing and this is the responsibility of the AC and Heating System Gaskets, Seals and O-rings. The circulation system must be sealed from anything getting in which can lead to compromised performance, blocked passages, contamination, and total failure. Likewise, the AC and heating system must be protected form anything getting out. Leaks can start small but can build until there is a loss of pressure, loss of lubrication, fuel, or even a loss of performance or total mechanical failure if compromised gaskets, seals, and O-rings are not replaced.
