Our Ignition Controls have defined MSD over the years, but youll also find a complete line of Pro-Billet Distributors, a growing line of performance coils (including coil packs for late models!), helpful accessories and the best spark plug wires available with our 8.5mm Super Conductors. MSD stands for multi spark discharge. It was the original concept that launched the company, MSD Ignition. The basic concept of multi spark discharge lowers emissions, improves starting, increases power and smoothes idle. Early on, racers adopted the MSD used it in several racing series. MSD designs, develops and manufactures the MSD line of ignition products. Extensive research and tesing in their facility allows them to perfect all of the products for proper functionality and reliability. MSD has a quality ignition part for most vehicles. Any type of performance vehicle can benefit from one or more of their parts. Daily drivers can improve performance, reliability and lower emissions. Most types of race cars can achieve ignition control and power gains with MSD products. As technology evolves, MSD continues to improve their existing product line and develop new innovative products. Ignition Control Boxes were the main product that enthusiasts associated them with. Returns
Autoshepherd wants every customer to be completely satisfied with their order. If you aren't, our "no hassle" return policy lets you shop with confidence.
For most items we carry, we offer a 365 day return period. If you aren't satisfied with your part, you can obtain an RA ("Return Authorization") number by emailing customerservice@autoshepherd.com or by calling 1-800-429-9150, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific Time. We want to know why you're returning the product, and if there's a mistake on our part, we'll do the necessary correction to guarantee your satisfaction. We'll cover return shipping costs by scheduling a time for your product to be picked up from your location and returned to us.
Items covered by this return policy should be in new condition and have all the original parts or accessories included when they are returned. Items that have been installed, but show defects in materials or workmanship, will be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. The information stated here is a guideline to our "no hassle" return policy. If you feel your situation may fall outside of these guidelines, or if you have questions, please feel free to contact us. We're always willing to work with you to provide a fair and speedy resolution to any issue.
Exchanges/Replacement
We always hope that you are satisfied with your AutoShepherd purchase, but in the event that you need to return a product, we're here to help. Contact our friendly customer service people at customerservice@autoshepherd.com to request a Return Authorization (RA) number. As long as the item is in new, uninstalled condition and is not damaged or is missing parts, you will be refunded in full, less the original shipping costs.
If you are requesting an exchange or replacement of the product that is being returned, you will be charged for the exchange or replacement item, as applicable, and for any freight fees applicable at the time you make the request.
Manufacturer's Warranty
All products come with one full year of manufacturer's warranty from the date shown on your original purchase invoice. Claims for defects in materials and workmanship detected during normal and customary use of the product are covered by the Full Manufacturer's Warranty.
