          Suspension Components Information

Why are Suspension Components Part(s) Important

Whatever your auto scene, the right Suspension Components are absolutely critical to achieving your ambitions for your vehicle. Hard parts like bearings, bushings and armatures need to be understood, inspected for movement and/or rigidity and—if necessary—replaced or upgraded. Performance parts are so plentiful for the suspension system that whatever course you plan on putting your vehicle through and whatever stance and ride you think ideal, you can achieve it—it’s just a matter of deciding what you want from your suspension.

The suspension system can keep your sport coup so close to the ground that air can barely pass under and slow you down; it can also elevate your truck so high that you can traverse a river without taking your foot off the gas. In between these extremes are the constants provided to all platforms by the suspension components. “Rolling” within the suspension (the uncheck transfer of momentum from left to right or front to back) can cause a car to loose control when contact between any of the wheels and the ground is compromised. To combat this, a series of anti-sway bars, springs and suspension dampeners come into play. To make sure the vehicle has the correct amount of travel (up and down movement) bushings and bump stops are incorporated to supplement the shock absorbers and struts.
